What others say about the chalet and Les Gets

- "A place to come home to! This has been our second visit to Les Gets and to the Chalet Les Pages. This really is a beautiful area and the chalet has everything that you would wish from a comfortable home and a holiday resort. The chalet is warm and comfortable and on both occasions the weather was sunny and warm which enabled us to go on many local walks using the ski lift and, on our return, to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and look at the stunning scenery. A gorgeous chalet in a beautiful area - I would recommend it.”

Vivienne from Petersfield
- Travel section states that Les Gets is "one of the most attractive and friendly ski resorts in the giant 207 lift Portes du Soleil area"
The Daily Telegraph

- "A great place to holiday One of the things I loved about the location of Chalet Les Page was the proximity to the village which was an easy five minute walk. The Chalet was bright and cheerful with great views and lovely balconies. The facilities were wonderful and very comfortable for the seven of us. My fondest memory is sitting on the balcony drinking a relaxing glass of wine at the end of an exhilarating day on the mountain.”
Lucy from Bermuda

- "Wow!! Had a super holiday - so convenient to the town centre and ski lifts. The chalet is warm and very comfortable with excellent facilities. Great having breakfast on the balcony looking at the wonderful views - a place I will want to return to again and again.”
Lesley D. from Hampshire

- Ski Guide comments: "Les Gets is an attractive old farming community situated 6km from Morzine in the giant Portes du Soleil ski area with its 206 lifts and 650km of piste. The skiing in Les Gets takes place on both sides of the village with excellent nursery slopes on the edge of the resort as well as at Les Chavannes, a gondola ride up the mountain. The Bebe club takes children as young as five months, while both the French Ski School and international ski schools are well established learning centres for families"
The Daily Telegraph

- "An ideal family chalet Chalet Les Page is a great find and we had a fabulous time exploring Les Gets and the surrounding villages from this ideal location. The chalet is really comfortable and well equipped. It has a lovely view over the valley, and we spent many afternoons drinking wine and eating local cheese accompanied by fabulous bread which we had bought from the nearby market. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were great. The children had loads of fun biking and exploring the mountains. A wonderful holiday to remember in a great spot.”
Andrew from Bermuda

- "Les Gets, the pocket-sized resort in the massive Portes du Soleil ski region of the French Alps, embarked on a 10-year sustainable development programme back in 2003 and is now widely acknowledged as one of the most environmentally proactive ski resorts... pedestrianising a large portion of Les Gets' village centre, providing free shuttle buses, using only biodegradable oil in its piste-bashers, and reducing the brightness of the street lights to save energy ...almost all of Les Gets' public buildings, including its police station and church, are now heated with renewable energy provided by a woodchip boiler fuelled by wood sourced from local forests. Les Gets has replaced diesel generators on the Ranfolly Express with solar panels. The resort also recuperates kinetic energy from the Les Planeys chairlift from the rotation of the return pulleys on the pylons."
